MOM - Water District Meeting - 1G - 09/20

Hello All, Here is the MOM from the today's 1G Board meeting (09/20). Pending Street Lights - Water district GM wasn't in the meeting as he got to attend the Jury duty, so no update. Tax Rate - District recommended to stay the same as there was not much revenue from 1G so far in the current year. Hence the tax rate would stay as-is for this year and they would review in the next year as they need to relook in to bonds. Street lights - Again, Water district GM needed for this update. Fire Hydrants - Color Red on the curb wherever the Fire hydrants are in the community to ease the emergency vehicles if in need. This would need a discussion with HOA and ARC (Architecture committee). Agreement with 1F board discussion is slated for next meeting as Mr. Phil wasn't available and current board do not have any idea about this. Of course they don't even read the agenda before coming to the meeting ( Unfortunat...

MOM: 2017 Annual HOA Meeting - On Sep11 at 2 PM

Good Evening Everyone, Last email from me tonight, I promise! We wanted to share an update on the HOA meeting yesterday. Board of Directors - Chris Bright was approved for another 3-year term. For those that don't know who the Board of Directors for our HOA consists of, it's the Bright brothers and one other person, so residents don't truly have voting power or say in anything the HOA does. New Development with roughly 314 lots will start construction next month. He mentioned they would be similar to CHNE. The condos in the Village Shops are almost complete, 16 of the 18 are under contract. Windhaven still scheduled to fully open up by CHN in 2021 Vector Security - It was mentioned that the contract for all of Castle Hills will expire 20 years after the last resident construction site completed. There was a discussion on the definition changing since it was never the intent for this many CH residential areas to exist back when the contract was first negotia...

MOM: Pre-Annual HOA Meeting 2017 - On Sep7 at 7 PM

Good Evening All, Thank you for stopping by for the meeting yesterday evening and here is MOM we had discussed and the list of priorities after the thorough discussion which we need to take it to HOA annual meeting. This time we didn't meet in the community center but outside at the south west corner of the playground. At the first, we started joking about the celebrity in the community who is roaming in the community since couple days (the Bobcat, native to Texas area, a Texan.) . ðŸ˜Š Achievements since May'17 meeting :- Family Picnic - Good no.of participants and had lots of fun. Homestead Exemptions - Board has passed motion for exempting 8% from Water District portion, this should save anywhere between $300-$430. For 1F the exemptions has been increased to 10%. The exemptions has already been posted to DentonCad site ( https://www.dentoncad.com/ ) Common Area Maintenance issues - Most of ...
