Hello All, Here are the water district meetings for the month of Jun '21 and we are going to have a public hearing on "proposed Third Amendment to the Strategic Partnership Agreement with the City of Lewisville, Texas, and Denton County Fresh Water Supply Districts No. 1-A through 1-H". Most of the City of Lewisville leadership is going to be in the meeting to help answer any questions you may have on the SPA agreement or on Annexation. Hello All - Here are the items discussed during the 1G board meeting on 6/17 and COL quarterly meeting for Castlehills on 6/25. Firstly, would like to congratulate Joel Watson for becoming a boarding member for 1G district. High level MOM : 1G Board Meeting Approved revised Homestead exemptions Continued to have 20% exemption for all residents Introduced $20,000 exemption for disabled individuals as a residential homestead Introduced $60,000 exemption for an individual who is 65 years or older as a residential homestead Digital Speed limit board is up by the Highwood entrance. This has been installed on the street light pole rather than a separate pole. MOM with City Manager of COL on 02-Jan-2020

Hello All - Here is the MOM with City Manager meeting occurred in the last week. Discussed about What City is planning to do and how they operate. City is very firm on getting the Annexation competed by Jul 2021. Castle Hills - A jewel in the market, after annexation it will still be jewel in Lewisville. Etc) Enhanced Patrolling - COL is adding addl. 10 officers in the current year and will keep adding more in the next couple years to facilitate the incoming need from future annexed area (Castlehills).  Currently we are paying additionally to have 12-14 hours of Patrolling our areas but this will become 24 hours on a typical patrolling done by...

Meeting with City of Lewisville Police Chief Kevin Deaver - 3/4

All - Here is the MOM from the meeting with Police Chief Kevin Deaver.    Somehow managed to relax time at work and able to meet City of Lewisville Police Chief Kevin Deaver on  the Monday 3/4 along with other 3 board members from other boards. Interesting facts shared with us and also gave so much confidence in getting this patrol service (On duty officers) from COL as we had an impression that COL is charging double rate comparatively the Castle Hills Patrol (Off duty officers) managed by Water district. We (Castle hills) now have a * dedicated * on-duty police patrol officers in the community for 16 hours . This doesn't mean that rest of the hours in a day uncovered, but regular on-duty officers would still be covering the area, this is not part of the SPA though.
