MOM from the 1G water district meeting on 11/20

Hello All,

 

Here is MOM for the 1G board meeting on 11/20.

 

  1. Finally LISD annexed the lot (on south west corner of Josey and Windhaven Pkwy) for the elementary school and current target of getting school ready is by Aug 2021 school year.
    1. This is around 13.5 acre lot
    2. This is confirmed by City of Lewisville official
  2. Annexation is still targeted for July 2021
  3. Patrolling has been improved
  4. Trash bin replacement cost has been reduced to $50 from $75, should you need a replacement you can call in the Water District
  5. Digital Speed Post on Highwood Trl - Water district will be reinstalling the post in next couple weeks
  6. Water district is working on installing the walking trail around the entire CH area, this includes the CHNE as well
  7. Winter usage average
    1. As all Cities would be using this formulae of averaging out the usage from Nov-Feb to determine the unit rate and which would be reflecting from Mar month, Water usage in this duration will be very key critical for the coming year water bills
  8. Reminded COL official about the Sales Tax (8.25%) at ALDI instead of 7.625% sales tax for *all* stores in CH area.
    1. COL will be reminding the Comptroller office

 

There will be no meeting in the next month.
