MOM from the 1G water district meeting on 4/17

Hello All,

Here is the MOM from the 1G water district meeting on 4/17.

MOM:

  1. Digital sign on Windhaven Pkwy nearby Winehart St entrance. With this sign, there seems to be slow down on traffic.
  2. Currently ALDI is charging the sales tax at 8.25%, which is legally not correct as CH shops should only charge 7.625% as per the last year elections.
    1. Raised this issue with City of Lewisville and then to Texas Comptroller office, they are looking into  this and will notify ALDI on reducing this to 7.625%.
    2. ALL the shops within Water district should be charging the sales tax of 7.625% only. Should you find anything different in the shops around us, PM me with the details.
    3. This should be applied until the annexation complete (targeted for early July 2021).
  3. Strategic Partnership Agreement (SPA) has been extended until Jan 2022.
