MOM from the 1G water district meeting on 2/28

Hello All,

Here is the MOM from the 1G water district meeting on 2/28.

MOM:
  1. The motion has been passed to cancel the 1G Elections as enough applicants are fulfilling the positions.
  2. Lewisville City is planning for a Fire Station west side of Josey and south of Windhaven  -> As the population is being grown rapidly, new Fire Station would serve the public within and around the Castle hills.
  3. New apartment complex is being planned besides Kroger complex. From this to FM 544, there will be a lane laid down near future (count in 2 years), however this  depends on the demand.
  4. Over the period, there will be single home community besides the pet cemetery on FM 544 and couple apartment complexes.
  5. Another apartment complex by Windhaven and Castle Hills Dr. This complex first floor will be retail and 2nd, 3rd will be residential apartment, something like Austin square style.
  6. Aldi has got the permit changes to extend the  store on the west side.
  7. Retail permits are being issued the lits between Aldi and Honest care.
  8. Crown center area will have 5 story office building.
  9. On 121 business and FM544, apartments are being planned.
  10. 5,6,7 & 8 would generate the revenue for 1G.
  11. As communicated earlier, playground awning would start from Mar 19 onwards.

Update from LISD citizens committee:
  1. The elementary school behind the Aldi complex would start by 2019, maybe ready by the academic year 2020 or 2021. It all depends on the continuous pressure from the current schools as they are already overloaded.
  2. No updates on the Middle school as this wasn't part of the approved bond last year.
