Resident Meeting 9/24/16

Dear Residents,

                   We have held a meeting on 09/24/2016 at 6.15 pm on the premises of the community center. There were 17 residents  attended the meeting. The meeting started with self introduction. 

We have discussed the following matters/concerns affecting  our community and agreed to bring those to the attention of the concerned authorities.

1) Speed control on Windhaven Parkway
     We have agreed to request the city of Lewisville to implement speed control and install proper sign boards.

2) To request the HOA to install proper speed /Children playing signs inside the community.

3) To request the HOA to built Basketball/Volleyball courts near the community center. This is a high priority item. 

4) To request HOA to install more lights near the play ground and  places not having enough street lights, members pointed out some places like Highwood and Del Molin and on Whiltshire. 

5) To request HOA to install more benches near the play ground.

6) To request the HOA to allow us to use the community center free of charge for our meetings. 

7) To request the HOA to increase the height of the wall on Windhaven pkwy side.

Scott has agreed to call Chris Bright (HOA President) soon to schedule a meeting with him. Iam ready to join him for the meeting.I request some more people to join if possible. Will let you know the date. Also we have to schedule a date to go to the City of Lewisville. 

We have also agreed to print a flyer and distribute it to all residents. We agreed to have our next meeting in the second week of October to discuss the results of the first initiative and  any matters/concerns affecting our community.  I request more people to join for that meeting. We may do it inside the community center.

I request all of you to participate in the discussions,meetings etc. Please let us know any others matters need urgent attention from the authorities. 

Please note that this google group is strictly for  the residents of Castle Hills North East. So please do not add or send requests to add people outside our community. I have made few more people as admins. When you approve the request,please make sure that it is a resident of our community.
